Medline and AGRICOLA are two previously proprietary databases now available free via the Internet. The Medline database contains over 11 million biomedical references from a world-wide collection of journals. Starting in 1970, the AGRICOLA database contains bibliographic records encompassing agriculture, food, and nutrition.
